Surly Beer at Punch Pizza
Thanks to the crafty workings of Twitter, I learned at around noon today of a beer tasting at a local pizza parlor. @punchpizza mentioned on Twitter:

I love Surly, and I’ve tried almost every brew they’ve released, but I hadn’t yet experienced Punch pizza. I called up a few friends who lived in the Saint Anthony Village neighborhood who dine at this Punch Pizza location often. The whole building is beautiful, with the original brick walls, exposed ductwork, and large art pieces lining the walls.
While waiting for Kate and Ben to meet Leslie and I, Omar served us each a Furious. We spoke about the upcoming batch of Darkness, which Surly will soon be starting. In the video, Omar lets us know more about upcoming firkin events at the local bars and restaurants.

I had a really great dinner experience; after all, you can’t beat a cold Surly and a great pizza, baked fresh in the 800-degree oven! I hope to head back to Punch sometime soon; only then, I will try to adventure into the build-your-own pizza realm!
Be sure to check out the menu, and discover your local Punch Pizza at punchpizza.com. Also, be sure to head over to surlybrewing.com, for more information regarding upcoming Surly brewery tours, firkin events, and of course, all sorts of Surly swag!
