Millstream’s Beer and Chocolate Tasting Event

On Saturday, February 28, Millstream Brewing Company and Chocolate Haus of Amana, Iowa will be hosting a beer and chocolate tasting event. This is an event we made mention of during Episode 8 and wanted to get the information out in writing for our listeners and readers to refer to. This unique event is a one of a kind here at Millstream Brewery. We are partnering with another Amana favorite, the Chocolate Haus, to bring you this specialty tasting. We’re brewing specialty one of a kind batches of beer and the Chocolate Haus is crafting specific flavors to compliment the beer. All patrons will receive a commemorative glass to sample the various beers with then take home with them. The various “Big Beers” will be a Belgian Double, a Belgian Triple, an Old Pilsner, an English Brown Ale, a Barley Wine, a Red Wheat Wine, a Coffee Porter and a Black Whisky Wine. The brewers have been having a lot of fun this winter putting these special brews together just for you at this tasting. Live music, beer and chocolate – it doesn’t get any better than this! Tickets are available through Millstream Brewery (319-622-3672), The Chocolate Haus ( 319-622-3025), John’s Grocery (319-337-2183) and Benz Beverage Depot (319-365-2556).
