Visiting the August Schell Brewing Company

Over the past weekend, Shawn and I took a road trip over to Lucan, Minnesota to visit the Brau Brothers Brewing Company. We’ll talk about that experience in the show this week, but I wanted to post a short video we shot at the August Schell Brewing Company. You see, Schell’s is located in New Ulm, Minnesota and was pretty much on the way back home from BrauFest. At the end of the tour, Schell’s brings you into a tasting room to sample six of their beers. Immediately following the sampling, Shawn and I recorded this video.

Additionally, here are a few photos taken on the grounds of Brau Brothers Brewing Company, located in Lucan, Minnesota. They’re in their second year of growing their own hops vines and hope to become fairly reliant on them in the future.

    Hey guys – I see you not only made it to Lucan, but to New Ulm as well! I actually drove through New Ulm on my way back from SD. Didn’t stop at the brewery (it was Sunday), but did have a few fresh Schell’s taps in town. Good to meet up with you guys in Lucan. Keep up the good work on the podcast!
