Our goal is to tour the breweries in Duluth, northern Wisconsin, and Minnesota (mostly Minneapolis/Saint Paul area). If you ever want to visit these fine establishments, you can learn more about them here.

Schell’s has a special summer schedule with daily tours. On Monday through Friday, tours are at 2:30 and 4 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, the tours are at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 PM. Cost is $3.

Call the number above to book a tour. Curiously, they have laid claim to being the “#1 U.S. Producer of Energy Drinks.” I am really looking forward to checking out this brewery. It’s a well-known, Minnesota brewery.

This brewery has been in Duluth since 1994, and their website looks like it hasn’t undergone an upgrade since. Tours can be arranged by emailing the address above.

Located quite literally on the south shores of Lake Superior, this brewery operates within a restaurant. Tours are “virtual” on the site, but contact information is available above.

Tours are every Tuesday and Thursday at 1 PM. There are also Saturday tours at 10:30 AM and 1 PM, but you need to call ahead and make a reservation. There is also a smallish gift shop with pint glasses, hats, and shirts.
