It was kind of a Revenge of the Brown Ales episode for the crew as apparently they had one episode near the beginning on the same topic, but a small dispute between myself and others brought upon the idea of a revisitation. Another one of the panel members, Doug, set out to prove me wrong on my preconceptions of beers from Abita – namely the TurboDog. I am by no means an expert of beer, but I do enjoy the occasional brew and talking about it. For a few months now I have been appearing as a guest on the podcast Everyday Drinkers, which focuses not only on beer but also cocktails and other liquors. I have really enjoyed joining their show for the beer episodes, and the spirit of the season got me to join in on the latest Hard Cider episode as well. It’s always great to hear the perspective of other beer enthusiasts, as well as the opinions of those who maybe don’t consider beer their beverage of choice.
