Together we discuss our take on the Hoegaarden wit; Shawn takes a look at the Hitachino Nest White Ale by Kiuchi Brewery, and I managed to track down the newest Millstream Brewing offering – Hefe”r”Weissen. This unique event is a one of a kind here at Millstream Brewery. We are partnering with another Amana favorite, the Chocolate Haus, to bring you this specialty tasting. We’re brewing specialty one of a kind batches of beer and the Chocolate Haus is crafting specific flavors to compliment the beer. All patrons will receive a commemorative glass to sample the various beers with then take home with them. The various “Big Beers” will be a Belgian Double, a Belgian Triple, an Old Pilsner, an English Brown Ale, a Barley Wine, a Red Wheat Wine, a Coffee Porter and a Black Whisky Wine. The brewers have been having a lot of fun this winter putting these special brews together just for you at this tasting. Live music, beer and chocolate – it doesn’t get any better than this!
